Many leaders in Can Tho retire early from July 1

Can Tho - On the afternoon of June 29, a conference was held to announce the Decision of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee on retirement for cadres.

At the conference, Mr. Le Tan Thu - Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Head of the Organizing Committee of the City Party Committee announced the Decision of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee on retirement for cadres.

Accordingly, comrades are allowed to retire early from July 1, 2025, including: Mr. Trinh Minh Thang - Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the Inspection Committee of the City Party Committee, concurrently Standing member of the City Party Committee; Mr. Nguyen Trung Nhan - Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Can Tho City; Mr. Nguyen Tong Nhiem - Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Head of the City Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee; Mr. Nguyen Xuan Hai - Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Can Tho City People's Council; Mr. Nguyen Tien Phong - Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Secretary of the Ninh Kieu District Party Committee.

Mr. Dao Ngoc Chi - Member of the City Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman, Inspection Committee of the City Party Committee; Mr. Nguyen Ngoc He - Member of the City Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Can Tho City for the 2021-2026 term; Mr. Tran Van Tam - Member of the City Party Committee, Secretary of the Vinh Thanh District Party Committee; Mr. Nguyen Hoang Ba - Member of the City Party Committee, Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of O Mon District; Ms. Nguyen Phuong Thuy - Head of the Economic - Budget Committee, People's Council of Can Tho City; Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Lam - Chairman of the Can Tho City Women's Union; Ms. Huynh Thi Hien - Permanent Vice President of the Can Tho City Labor Federation.

Regimes and policies are resolved according to Decree No. 178/2024/ND-CP dated December 31, 2024 and Decree No. 67/2025/ND-CP dated March 15, 2025 of the Government.
