He has held the following positions: Deputy Head of Department 6, Criminal Police Department, Ministry of Public Security (June 2009); Deputy Director of Hau Giang Provincial Police (since September 2014). In May 2020, he was appointed Director of Hau Giang Provincial Police.
On June 13, Mr. Hoa was promoted by the President from Colonel to Major General. In early June, the Minister of Public Security also decided to raise the salary to a rank one year before the term for Mr. Hoa because he was awarded the Third Class Medal of Honor by the President for his outstanding achievements in his work.
