On April 18, Lieutenant General Pham The Tung - Deputy Minister of Public Security - attended the 50th Anniversary of the Establishment of Tan Son Nhat International Airport Border Police (May 2, 1975 - May 2, 2025) and received the Second Class Fatherland Protection Medal.
Speaking at the program, Lieutenant General Pham Dang Khoa - Director of the Immigration Department - congratulated the Tan Son Nhat International Airport Border Police with their glorious and proud 50-year tradition of contributing an important part to the feats and achievements of the People's Public Security Force (CAND) in general and immigration management in particular.
At the ceremony, authorized by the President, Deputy Minister Pham The Tung awarded the Second Class Fatherland Protection Medal to the Tan Son Nhat International Airport Border Guard.
Also at the ceremony, authorized by the Prime Minister, Lieutenant General Pham Dang Khoa presented the Prime Minister's Certificate of Merit to collectives and individuals.
Lieutenant Colonel Pham Vu Huong Giang - Head of Tan Son Nhat International Airport Border Police - affirmed that the noble awards received will be a motivation for generations of officers and soldiers of the unit to have strong confidence, share the will, and be ready to excellently complete the assigned tasks.
Also on April 18, in Ho Chi Minh City, the Department of Immigration Management, Ministry of Public Security organized the 3rd Advanced Typical Conference for the period 2025-2030.
In recent years, the emulation movement has truly been a strong driving force to motivate generations of cadres and soldiers in the industry to strive to excellently complete assigned tasks, contributing to building a truly clean, strong, disciplined, elite, modern immigration management force, absolutely loyal to the Party, the Fatherland and the people.
With outstanding achievements, the unit has been awarded the title of "Hero of the People's Armed Forces" by the Party and the State and many other noble awards; hundreds of collectives, officers and soldiers have been commended by the State, the Ministry of Public Security and relevant departments, branches and units for their outstanding achievements in all aspects of work.
At the ceremony, authorized by the President, Deputy Minister of Public Security Pham The Tung awarded the Second Class Fatherland Protection Medal to the Immigration Department.
Under the authorization of the President, Deputy Minister Pham The Tung awarded the Third -class National Protection Medal to Colonel Nguyen Ba Tuan - Deputy Director of the Immigration Department.
At the conference, 11 collectives, 39 advanced individuals in the period of 2020-2025 were honored and praised.
On the same day, April 18, in Hanoi, the Criminal Police Department, the Ministry of Public Security held an advanced typical conference to emulate the "For Homeland Security" for the second time, the period of 2025-2030.
At the Conference, authorized by the President and the Prime Minister, Lieutenant General Tran Ngoc Ha - Director of the Criminal Police Department - awarded the Medal of Merit of various ranks and Certificates of Merit from the Prime Minister to collectives and individuals of the unit with outstanding achievements.
On this occasion, the Criminal Police Department recognized, commended and honored 34 most typical and advanced individuals in the 5 years 2020-2025.
