On April 6, according to information from the Ministry of National Defense's Electronic Information Portal, this agency is posting to collect public opinions and officers and soldiers on cases that have been commended.
This is implemented according to Clause 2, Article 46 of Decree No. 98/2023/ND-CP dated December 31, 2023 of the Government detailing the implementation of a number of articles of the Law on Emulation and Commendation;
According to this list, there are 2 groups that are eligible for the Ho Chi Minh Medal, including: General Department II and Military Region 1.
There is 1 collective considered for the First Class Military Exploit Order, which is the Da Nang City Military Command, Military Region 5.
There is one collective considered for the Second Class Military Exploit Order, which is the Institute of Military Science and Technology, General Staff.
There is one collective considered for the Third Class Military Exploit Order, the Ho Chi Minh City Command, Military Region 7.

According to Article 35 of the Law on Emulation and Commendation 2022, the Ho Chi Minh Medal is awarded or posthumously awarded to individuals who strictly comply with the Party's guidelines, policies and laws of the State and meet one of the following criteria:
Having made great contributions, especially outstanding in the revolutionary cause of the Party and the nation;
There are many outstanding achievements, with a scope of influence and setting an example nationwide in one of the fields of politics, economics, society, culture, arts, science, technology, national defense, security, foreign affairs or other fields.
According to Clause 3, Article 35, the Ho Chi Minh Medal is awarded to military regions, military groups, branches, general offices and equivalents under the Ministry of National Defense, the force system in the People's Public Security, general offices and equivalents under ministries, departments and branches that meet the following standards:
Having been awarded the First Class "Independence Medal" or the First Class "Army Medal" and then continuously for 10 years or more until the time of the proposal to achieve outstanding achievements, have a wide scope of influence and have typical new factors for the whole country to study;
With a long tradition, great contributions to the revolutionary cause of the Party and the nation; internal solidarity; clean and strong Party and mass organizations.
