On the morning of August 25, the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee coordinated with Ho Chi Minh City National University to organize a workshop to contribute opinions on the Ca Mau Provincial Party Congress Documents, term 2025-2030.
Speaking at the workshop, Mr. Nguyen Ho Hai - Secretary of the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee - said: The workshop contributed opinions to the Ca Mau Provincial Party Congress Document, term 2025-2030 is very important for Ca Mau province, because this is the first document after the merger of the two provinces of Ca Mau - Bac Lieu according to Resolution No. 60, dated April 12, 2025 of the Central Party Executive Committee.
According to Secretary of the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Ho Hai, after the merger, the space and room of the province has been expanded, with many outstanding potentials and advantages, the Provincial Party Committee hopes that the document of the first Congress after the merger will truly be a strategic plan, shaping a new position, orienting the long-term and sustainable development of the province; making Ca Mau a comprehensive, dynamic development center, worthy of the position of the southernmost province of the Fatherland, confidently entering a new era of development with the whole country.
"The Provincial Party Committee will seriously absorb all the comments and contributions of comrades into the document so that the document of the Provincial Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term can truly be a development hero, opening a new period with many new achievements, continuing to promote the tradition of the heroic homeland", Mr. Hai emphasized.
At the workshop, delegates focused on discussing many different contents and fields. Opinions say that Ca Mau needs to continue to exploit the strengths of the marine economy, aquaculture, renewable energy and logistics services.
Delegates also proposed that the province promote the application of science and technology, digital transformation in agriculture, associated with building key product brands, increasing added value and competitiveness.
In the cultural and social field, many opinions emphasized the task of improving the quality of education, taking care of people's health, preserving and promoting traditional cultural values, and at the same time paying attention to job creation and social security for people...
In particular, in the work of building the Party and the political system, the delegates agreed that it is necessary to continue to improve the leadership capacity and fighting strength of the Party organization; focus on personnel work, especially building a team of young cadres with qualifications and courage, meeting development requirements.
Concluding the workshop, Mr. Huynh Quoc Viet - Deputy Secretary of the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee - respectfully acknowledged and accepted the valid and enthusiastic contributions of the delegates. All opinions express a constructive, frank, and scientific spirit, with many strategic contents and long-term vision.
Mr. Viet said that the workshop did not stop at analyzing and evaluating the potential strengths, criticizing and giving comments on documents, but had truly become a forum for connecting thinking, sharing experiences and inspiring innovation in the process of building a development vision for Ca Mau in the coming period.
This is also an important source of data for the Organizing Committee of the Workshop to fully synthesize and systematize opinions to absorb, supplement, and complete the draft Documents, and submit to the 17th Congress of the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee, recognizing many new proposals, ensuring feasibility and long-term strategic vision for Ca Mau province after the merger.
