Hanoi - The 1st Party Congress of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, term 2025 - 2030, was attended by 248 official delegates.

On June 25 and 26, 2025, the 1st Party Congress of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, term 2025 - 2030, was solemnly held at the Opera House (Hanoi). The official session of the Congress opened this morning (June 26).

The Congress was attended by members of the Party Central Committee: Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh; Deputy Secretary of the Government Party Committee Le Thi Thuy; Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Van Hung.

The Congress took place in the context that the entire Culture, Sports and Tourism sector is actively implementing strategic tasks in the spirit of the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress, in which it is determined to develop culture on par with economics, politics and society; sports and tourism are the fields that contribute to building Vietnamese people to develop comprehensively, forming national identity in the era of integration and development.

This is a political event of special significance for all cadres, party members and workers in the entire Culture, Sports and Tourism sector.

The Congress was attended by 248 official delegates, representing nearly 3,000 party members from 58 grassroots party organizations under the Party Committee of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

The Congress is tasked with summarizing and evaluating the implementation of the Resolution of the Party Congress for the 2020-2025 term; at the same time, setting out directions, goals, tasks and solutions for the 2025-2030 term to meet the requirements of industry development in the new situation; The Congress will also focus on discussing and contributing opinions to draft documents submitted to Party Congresses at all levels, demonstrating the spirit of responsibility, intelligence, solidarity and development aspiration of the entire Party Committee.

This is also an opportunity to further arouse the spirit of innovation, aspiration to rise up, promote the combined strength, create a solid foundation for the comprehensive development of the Culture, Sports and Tourism sector in the context of the country's deep integration.
