On the afternoon of October 3, at the Press Center serving the 1st Gia Lai Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030, Mr. Pham Anh Tuan - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee - shared with news agencies and the press about the contents related to the Congress.
According to Mr. Pham Anh Tuan, before the merger with Gia Lai, Binh Dinh province had made a breakthrough in development, creating a strong impression and building a brand on the development map of Vietnam, reaching out to the world.

That is the result of the entire process of accumulation, inherited through many generations of leaders and many consecutive terms. It is that perseverance that has created a strong explosion of the province in recent times.
After the merger, although it has only been 3 months to implement the 2-level local government model, the management and operation work has quickly become more orderly, demonstrating high consensus and unity in the entire leadership system.
"In the overall development of the province, the role of the leader always has decisive significance," said Mr. Pham Anh Tuan.
According to the Chairman of the Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee, with outstanding results, Comrade Ho Quoc Dung - Secretary of the Gia Lai Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term, a typical son of the Central region - has been trusted by the Central Government and introduced to the Central Government to continue promoting capacity.

Mr. Pham Anh Tuan shared: "Comrade Ho Quoc Dung went to the Central Government, but all of his passion and ideas were still sent back to the land of Gia Lai. That is clearly demonstrated in the Political Report submitted to the Congress, the upcoming Resolution and action program.
With those ideas, the Central Committee has considered, reviewed and appointed a new leadership committee with sufficient capacity to realize the orientations that the collective leadership and people of Gia Lai have forged in the Political Report, including the dedication of comrade Ho Quoc Dung".
Mr. Pham Anh Tuan affirmed that his successors are responsible for perfecting and implementing the ideas that comrade Ho Quoc Dung and the collective leadership and people of Gia Lai have forged. The new leadership needs to have new creativity and methods to continue developing Gia Lai. Those who cannot do it will be replaced.
"For my part, when I take on a new assignment at the Central level, comrade Ho Quoc Dung will continue to accompany and support Gia Lai's development, as well as other localities," said Mr. Pham Anh Tuan.
This morning, at the Congress, Ms. Bui Thi Quynh Van - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Organization Committee - informed that the Politburo had agreed to allow Mr. Ho Quoc Dung - Member of the 13th Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Gia Lai Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term - to stop participating in the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, stop holding the position of Secretary of the Gia Lai Provincial Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term and related positions, so that the Central Committee can carry out the process of introducing and electing him as Deputy Prime Minister for the 2021-2026 term.
At the Congress, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission Nguyen Trong Nghia emphasized that the great and comprehensive achievements that Gia Lai province has achieved in recent times are the result of the efforts of the Party Committee, government and people of the province, including the leadership and direction of the Executive Committee, Standing Committee and comrade Ho Quoc Dung.
