On March 30, the 18th Cao Bang Provincial People's Council opened the first session, term 2026-2031 to consolidate key positions, consider and decide on contents under its authority.
At the meeting, delegates of the Provincial People's Council conducted elections for the positions of Chairman and Vice Chairman of the 18th Provincial People's Council, term 2026-2031.
Accordingly, Mr. Phan Thang An - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee - was elected to hold the position of Chairman of the People's Council of Cao Bang province, term XVIII, 2026-2031 with an absolute number of votes, reaching 100% of the delegates present in favor.
Mr. La Hoai Nam and Be Minh Duc were elected to hold the position of Vice Chairman of the People's Council of Cao Bang province, term XVIII, term 2026-2031, with 100% of the delegates present in favor. Immediately after that, the Provincial People's Council passed a resolution confirming the results of the election of the above personnel.
For the Boards of the Provincial People's Council, 100% of delegates unanimously elected and consolidated leadership positions. At the same time, delegates also elected the positions of Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for the 2026-2031 term and elected members of the Provincial People's Committee.
Mr. Le Hai Hoa - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Cao Bang Provincial People's Committee term 17, term 2021-2026 was trusted to be elected to hold the position of Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee term 2026-2031 with a 100% approval rate.
3 Vice Chairmen of the Provincial People's Committee include: Mr. Vu Dinh Quang, Mr. Hoang Van Thach and Ms. Ha Nhat Le.
Mr. Le Hai Hoa, 46 years old; holds a doctorate in economics and social sciences; a master's degree in social sciences; a bachelor's degree in business administration. Previously, he held the positions of: Chief of Office of the Provincial People's Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and Secretary of the Cao Bang City Party Committee.
At the 14th Party Congress, he was elected alternate member of the Central Committee of the Party.
