At the meeting, based on the personnel list introduced, National Assembly deputies of the Hai Phong City National Assembly Delegation democratically discussed and conducted secret ballot procedures. As a result, with 19/19 votes in favor, reaching a rate of 100% of the delegates present, the Delegation unanimously elected Mr. Le Ngoc Chau, Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the City People's Committee to hold the position of Head of the 16th Hai Phong City National Assembly Delegation, term 2026-2031.
Speaking to receive the assignment, Mr. Le Ngoc Chau thanked the trust of the delegates in the Delegation. The new Head of the City National Assembly Delegation affirmed that this is an honor associated with great responsibility, and at the same time committed to working with the Delegation collective to promote the spirit of solidarity and wisdom, perform well the role of representing the will and aspirations of voters and people of Hai Phong, and make positive and effective contributions to important decisions of the National Assembly in the coming time.
Previously, the Delegation of National Assembly Deputies of Hai Phong City, term XVI also held a meeting to consolidate the title of Deputy Head of the Delegation of National Assembly Deputies. Under the chairmanship of Mr. Le Ngoc Chau, 100% of delegates unanimously elected Mr. La Thanh Tan, Member of the City Party Committee and Ms. Nguyen Thi Viet Nga, Member of the City Party Committee to continue holding the position of Deputy Head of the Delegation of National Assembly Deputies of Hai Phong City, term XVI, term 2026-2031.
