On the morning of September 27, at the opening session of the Hai Phong City Party Congress, Mr. Nguyen Quang Duong - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Organization Committee - announced the Politburo's Decision on appointing the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, Secretary, Deputy Secretary of the Hai Phong City Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term.
Accordingly, the Hai Phong City Party Committee Executive Committee for the 2025-2030 term consists of 78 comrades; the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term consists of 20 comrades. Mr. Le Tien Chau - Secretary of the Hai Phong City Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term - holds the position of Secretary of the City Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term.
Mr. Do Manh Hien, Le Ngoc Chau, Le Van Hieu and Pham Van Lap are Deputy Secretaries of the City Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term. In which, Mr. Do Manh Hien holds the position of Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee; Mr. Le Van Hieu holds the position of Chairman of the City People's Council; Mr. Le Ngoc Chau holds the position of Chairman of the City People's Committee; Mr. Pham Van Lap holds the position of Chairman of the City Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee (VFF).
Mr. Le Tien Chau - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the City Party Committee, Head of the City National Assembly Delegation - on behalf of the City Party Committee Executive Committee for the 2025-2030 term, gave a speech accepting the assignment, stating: The entire City Party Committee Executive Committee will be absolutely loyal to the Fatherland, the Party, the People; unity, discipline, and bravery; dedication, enthusiasm, service to the Fatherland, serve the People; determined to successfully implement the Resolution of the 1st City Party Congress, worthy of the new position and new responsibility of Hai Phong.
On behalf of the Congress Presidium, Mr. Do Manh Hien - Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee - announced the Politburo's Decision to appoint the Hai Phong City Party Committee Delegation to attend the 14th National Party Congress, consisting of 44 official delegates and 3 alternate delegates; announced the Secretariat's Decision to appoint the City Party Committee's Inspection Committee for the 2025-2030 term, consisting of 11 comrades. Mr. Vu Hong Hien holds the position of Chairman of the Inspection Committee of the City Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term.
The Congress voted with 100% of delegates unanimously to approve the Resolution of the 1st Hai Phong City Party Congress, term 2025-2030.
On behalf of the Presidium, Mr. Le Tien Chau - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the City Party Committee, Head of the City National Assembly Delegation - presented the closing speech of the Congress emphasizing: The success of the 1st City Party Congress, term 2025-2030 is a great encouragement, adding confidence and enthusiasm to the entire Party Committee, government, business community and people of the city. This is not only an important starting point, but also an affirmation of the determination to unite, join hands to build and develop Hai Phong into a modern, civilized, ecological and livable port city of Southeast Asia by 2030.
