At the first session of the XI Tay Ninh Provincial People's Council, term 2026-2031, delegates elected key positions of the Provincial People's Council according to regulations.
As a result, Mr. Nguyen Manh Hung - Member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the 10th Provincial People's Council - was trusted to be elected to hold the position of Chairman of the 11th Tay Ninh Provincial People's Council, term 2026-2031 with 100% of the delegates present in favor. The Provincial People's Council also passed a resolution confirming the results of the election of the title of Chairman of the Provincial People's Council according to regulations.
At the meeting, delegates continued to elect Vice Chairmen of the Provincial People's Council for the new term. Accordingly, Ms. Nguyen Dai Thy, Ms. Dang Thi Ngoc Mai and Mr. Nguyen Hong Son were elected to hold the positions of Vice Chairmen of the Tay Ninh Provincial People's Council of the XI term, term 2026-2031. The Provincial People's Council also passed a resolution confirming the results of the election of Vice Chairmen of the Provincial People's Council.
To complete the organizational structure of the new term Provincial People's Council, the session also proceeded to elect the Heads of the Committees of the 11th Provincial People's Council. As a result, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Phuc held the position of Head of the Culture - Society Committee; Mr. Pham Van Dang held the position of Head of the Legal Committee; Mr. Nguyen Hoang Nam held the position of Head of the Economic - Budget Committee.
According to the working program, the Standing Committee of the 11th Provincial People's Council will hold the first meeting to decide the number and approve the list of Deputy Heads and Members of the Boards of the Provincial People's Council at the request of the Heads of the Boards.
The consolidation of key leadership positions of the Tay Ninh Provincial People's Council of the XI term, 2026-2031, contributes to completing the organizational structure, creating a basis for implementing tasks in the new term.
