According to the working program, after listening to the personnel introduction reports, the Tay Ninh Provincial People's Council will elect the Chairman and Vice Chairmen of the 11th Provincial People's Committee, term 2026-2031.
As a result, Mr. Le Van Han - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term continued to be trusted to be elected to hold the position of Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for the new term with 81/81 delegates present in favor, reaching a rate of 100%.
At the meeting, the Provincial People's Council also elected Mr. Nguyen Hong Thanh, Nguyen Minh Lam, Doan Trung Kien, Pham Tan Hoa and Huynh Van Son to hold the position of Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Tay Ninh province for the 2026-2031 term.
After that, the Provincial People's Council approved a resolution confirming the results of the election of the Chairman and Vice Chairmen of the Provincial People's Committee for the 2026-2031 term according to regulations.
Mr. Le Van Han previously held many positions in Tra Vinh province such as: Chief of Office of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Cang Long District Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and Secretary of the Tra Vinh City Party Committee. From 2020 to mid-2025, he held the position of Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Tra Vinh Provincial People's Committee.
After that, he was transferred and appointed to hold the position of Deputy Secretary of Vinh Long Provincial Party Committee, participating in the Executive Committee and Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee for the term 2025-2030; at the same time, taking on the position of Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Vinh Long province. By November 2025, he was transferred and appointed to hold the position of Deputy Secretary of Tay Ninh Provincial Party Committee for the term 2025-2030 and was elected by the Provincial People's Council to hold the position of Chairman of Tay Ninh Provincial People's Council for the term 2021-2026.
The fact that Mr. Le Van Han continues to be trusted to be elected to hold the position of Chairman of Tay Ninh Provincial People's Committee for the 2026-2031 term shows the high consensus of the Provincial People's Council delegates on key personnel of the local government in the new period.
