On August 5, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nghi - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, Head of Working Group No. 1 of the Congress Steering Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, worked with the Standing Committees of the Party Committees of Lai Thieu and Tan Phuoc wards.
The content of the working session was on the preparation and organization of the Ward Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term and the results of 1 month of operation of the 2-level local government apparatus.
At the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nghi - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee highly appreciated the proactiveness and responsibility of the Standing Committees of the two localities in leading and directing the preparation work to organize the Party Congress of the ward for the 2025-2030 term.
Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nghi requested localities to absorb comments from the working group to complete the preparation and successfully organize the 1st Ward Party Congress.
According to Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nghi, localities need to draft a congress resolution with a system of targets that must closely follow the instructions of the City Party Committee Office. Thereby, clearly demonstrating the aspiration to rise of the locality, the fighting spirit of the Party Committee, on the basis of exploiting new development space, best exploiting the advantages and characteristics of each locality; ensuring the best care for the lives of the people.
The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee also noted that the key tasks and solutions proposed must be truly appropriate and feasible, ensuring that the limitations and shortcomings pointed out in the past term are overcome. Regarding the operation of local government at both levels, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nghi requested strict implementation of the arrangement and organization of operations according to the model, paying attention to Party building work, ensuring the leadership role of the Party in the new context.
Review working regulations, clearly identify people, work, responsibilities, avoid overlap and overlap. Along with that, create a civilized, united working environment, share and support each other to successfully complete tasks.
Requesting localities to review equipment infrastructure, facilities, headquarters to report to the city; reviewing infrastructure indicators in the area to have a plan to overcome or complete investment.
Pay attention to training and fostering cadres in both professional expertise and public ethics so that the apparatus operates effectively and efficiently, serving people and businesses well.
