On July 26, the Party Committee of Phu Loi Ward, Can Tho City held the first Congress of Delegates for the 2025 - 2030 term. This is one of 4 units selected by the Standing Committee of the Can Tho City Party Committee as a direction point for the commune and ward-level congress for the 2025 - 2030 term. Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the Can Tho City People's Committee Tran Van Lau attended and gave a speech.
At the Congress, the Can Tho City Party Committee announced the Decision to appoint the Executive Committee and the Standing Committee of the Phu Loi Ward Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term. Mr. Thai Dang Khoa was appointed to hold the position of Secretary of the Phu Loi Ward Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030.
Phu Loi ward was established on the basis of merging 4 wards (1, 2, 3, 4) of Soc Trang city, old Soc Trang province. The entire Party Committee currently has 67 Party cells and affiliated Party Committees, with 3,693 Party members.
In the 2020-2025 term, the Ward Party Committee has focused on comprehensive leadership in the following areas: Party building work, socio-economic development, national defense and security, and building a strong political system. Key tasks are implemented in accordance with orientation and practice; 15/15 main targets according to the Resolution of the Congress have all been achieved and exceeded the set plan.
