According to Decision No. 3119/QD-UBND of the Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee on receiving and appointing Mr. Tran Anh Tuan (born on February 28,77), with a doctoral degree, as a member of the City Party Committee, Secretary of the Son Tay Town Party Committee (before transferring the two-level local government model), to hold the position of Director of the Hanoi Department of Science and Technology from July 1, 2025, with a term of appointment of 5 years.
Authorized by the Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee, Vice Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee Truong Viet Dung presented the decision and congratulated Mr. Tran Anh Tuan. He suggested that the new Director of the Department of Science and Technology continue to promote his capacity, strengths and working experience; proactively research and foster professional expertise; promote the spirit of solidarity, together with the collective leadership, cadres and civil servants of the Department to successfully complete assigned tasks.
Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Truong Viet Dung emphasized that, in response to the need to innovate leadership methods in the spirit of Resolution No. 57/NQ-TU, the capital's science and technology sector needs to constantly innovate, be creative, arouse the spirit of dedication among the staff, making Hanoi a leading locality in the country in the field of innovation, meeting the expectations of the people of the capital and the whole country.
Speaking at the ceremony to accept the assignment, the new Director of the Department of Science and Technology, Tran Anh Tuan, expressed his honor and at the same time, was deeply aware of the great responsibility in his new position.
Mr. Tuan thanked the city's leaders for their trust and confidence and pledged to strive to learn, promote capacity and experience to work with the Department of Science and Technology to successfully complete assigned tasks.
