On the morning of July 4, at a conference chaired by Vice Chairman of the Tay Ninh Provincial People's Committee Huynh Van Son, the province announced the Prime Minister's decision on the establishment of the Tay Ninh Provincial Economic Zone Management Board.
This is an agency under the Provincial People's Committee, responsible for state management of economic zones and industrial parks, including border gate economic zones in the province.
The Tay Ninh Economic Zone Management Board will perform the function of providing public administrative services and supporting investment, production and business activities for enterprises in economic zones and industrial parks according to the provisions of law.

At the conference, representatives of the Department of Home Affairs announced the decisions of the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee on personnel work. Accordingly, Mr. Truong Thanh Liem, former Secretary of the Can Giuoc District Party Committee, was transferred and appointed to the position of Head of the Tay Ninh Provincial Economic Zone Management Board for a term of 5 years.
In addition, 5 Deputy Heads of the Board were also appointed, including: Truong Van Hung, Nguyen Van Thong, Vo Anh Linh, Le Anh Kiet and Thai Binh An. Mr. Truong Van Hung's appointment term lasted until retirement, the remaining people had a term of 5 years. The above decisions take effect from July 3, 2025.
Speaking at the conference, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Huynh Van Son congratulated the appointed officials and requested the Economic Zone Management Board to quickly stabilize the organization, arrange work appropriately, and at the same time promote the role of the unit in investment promotion, management and support.
He also emphasized the importance of reforming administrative procedures and closely coordinating with relevant agencies to create a favorable and transparent investment environment.
The establishment of the Tay Ninh Economic Zone Management Board on the basis of merging previous management departments is an important step, demonstrating the province's political determination in streamlining the administrative apparatus, promoting the development of industrial parks and economic zones, especially border economic zones, to maximize the potential and advantages of the border area, while enhancing regional connectivity and international integration.
