According to the organizers, due to many procedures, the "Art for Climate - Ha Long Bay 2025" Festival, with many attractive activities, expected to have the participation of about 200 billionaires in the world, continues to be postponed.
The event "Art for Climate - Ha Long Bay 2025" is expected to be held in October 2025.
The event has been delayed continuously due to many factors, including procedural issues.
According to the original plan, the event "Art for Climate - Ha Long Bay 2025" will take place from January 13-19, 2025 in the old Ha Long City.
However, after some adjustments in time, by April 2024, the expected schedule is from June 2 to 8, 2025.
A representative of the Quang Ninh Provincial Department of Tourism at that time explained that the "Art for Climate - Ha Long Bay 2025" Festival had many activities, while the preparation work took a lot of time.

As reported by Lao Dong Newspaper, Art for Climate in 2025 was expected to be held in a Middle Eastern country, but later Arsuprema - the organizer of Art for Climate in France - chose Ha Long Bay.
Choosing Ha Long Bay is both to honor the values of art but also to raise awareness of heritage conservation, joining hands to respond to climate change and protect the environment.
According to the Organizing Committee, it is expected that about 80,000 people will participate in the event, including planners, local managers, artists, environmental activists, investors, students and a wide range of community members.
In particular, there will be more than 200 European billionaires - who have attended previous Art for Climate events; not to mention the expected Asian billionaires. These billionaires have never been to Vietnam.
Notably, billionaires are expected to come to Ha Long Bay by super yacht. The organizing committee has the idea of coordinating with local authorities to arrange for billionaire yachts to anchor in the beautiful sandbanks located at the foot of the mountain between Ha Long Bay and Bai Tu Long Bay.
The organizer also proposed that the world's billionaires attending this event will participate in planting trees in an area arranged by local governments.
Previously, on September 16, 2024, at the French Embassy in Hanoi, the Announcement Ceremony of the "Art for Climate - Ha Long Bay 2025" Festival took place. Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Chairman of the Vietnam National Commission for UNESCO Ha Kim Ngoc and ambassadors of many countries, heads of international agencies and organizations in Vietnam, and representatives of enterprises attended the ceremony.
