To celebrate the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, on August 26 in Hanoi, the Ministry of Science and Technology in coordination with the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism held a special stamp issuance ceremony "Celebrating the 80th anniversary of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025). The stamp set includes 1 stamp sample and 1 Block.

The stamp model depicts the image of President Ho Chi Minh, the founder of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam, depicted in a modern visual art style, both solemn and approachable.
Uncle Ho's face appeared gentle, his eyes lit up the belief and aspiration for independence and freedom for the nation. The simple but sophisticated lines, combined with the main red and yellow colors of the National Flag, create a strong highlight, honoring the great leader, an immortal symbol of patriotism, self-reliance and the desire for peace of the Vietnamese people.

Mr. La Hoang Trung - Director of the Post Office Department (Ministry of Science and Technology) - said that the block model shows the National Coat of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and the map of the Fatherland with the sacred and complete sovereignty of the sea and islands of the national territory. The Black community uses the image of a bronze drum, a symbol of a thousand years of culture, recalling the historical origin and depth of national culture.
The stamp is 32x43mm in frame; blossoms are 80x100mm in frame with face value of 4,000 VND and 19,000 VND. The stamp set was designed by artist Nguyen Du (Vietnam Post Corporation); supplied nationwide at provincial, municipal, central post offices, transaction offices from August 26, 2025 to June 30, 2027.
The stamp set "Celebrating the 80th Anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025)" not only shows the important historical milestone, the day President Ho Chi Minh read the Declaration of Independence, the birth of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam, but also an affirmation of sovereignty, freedom, independence, solidarity, indomitable will and national pride of Vietnam over the past 80 years.
The stamp set also conveys a message of infinite gratitude for the merits of the great President Ho Chi Minh, the genius leader of the Party, of our nation, the revolutionary predecessors and millions of heroes and martyrs who heroically fought and sacrificed for the independence, sovereignty, unity and territorial integrity of the Fatherland.
At the same time, the stamp set is also an affirmation that after 80 years of construction and development, the lives of the Vietnamese people are increasingly prosperous and happy, the country is constantly innovating and integrating deeply, continuing to firmly enter a new era - the era of sustainable and prosperous development.
