Within the framework of the Opening Ceremony of the Press Center and the International Press Conference on the 14th National Congress of the Party, on the afternoon of January 14, at the National Convention Center (Hanoi), the Ministry of Science and Technology organized a special stamp issuance ceremony "Welcome the 14th National Congress of the Party!".
This activity aims to contribute to widespread propaganda among all cadres, party members and people from all walks of life about the stature and significance of the 14th National Party Congress.
Introducing and announcing the special issuance of the postage stamp set "Welcome the 14th National Congress of the Party!", Mr. Pham Duc Long - Deputy Minister of Science and Technology - said that since its establishment, the Communist Party of Vietnam has gone through 13 Congresses: from the 1st National Congress in 1935 to the 13th National Congress in 2021.
The 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam taking place from January 19-25, 2026 is a major political event and an important milestone, crystallizing the great belief and expectation of the entire nation for a strong, prosperous and happy Vietnam. With strategic vision and breakthrough policies, the Congress opens a new era - an era of rich and prosperous development of the nation.
This is a Congress associated with the context of the country after 40 years of carrying out renovation, 50 years of liberation of the South and national reunification, 80 years of establishment of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam, now the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, 95 years of establishment of the Communist Party of Vietnam, towards the 100th anniversary of the Party's establishment (in 2030).
From the 3rd National Congress of the Party (1960) to now, at each Congress, the Post Office sector issues a set of welcome stamps, contributing to spreading the vibrant emulation spirit, reflecting the cause of struggle and defense of the Fatherland, building socialism and the great achievements of the Vietnamese Revolution.
On this occasion, Minister of Science and Technology Nguyen Manh Hung respectfully presented a painting of the postage stamp set "Welcome the 14th National Congress of the Party!" to Politburo Member, Standing Secretary of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu and Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee Trinh Van Quyet.
