On the afternoon of January 14, in Hanoi, the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee, the Board of Directors of the 14th Congress of the Party Press Center organized the opening ceremony of the Press Center and an international press conference on the 14th Congress of the Party.
Attending the opening ceremony were Politburo Member, Standing Secretary of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu; Politburo Member, Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, Chairman of the Central Theoretical Council Nguyen Xuan Thang; Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission Trinh Van Quyet; Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Minister of Foreign Affairs Le Hoai Trung; Member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission Lai Xuan Mon - Director of the 14th Congress Press Center.
Up to now, there are 597 reporters and technicians from 113 domestic press agencies (compared to 498 domestic reporters at the 13th Congress); 79 reporters and press assistants from 43 foreign press agencies, overseas Vietnamese reporters, reporters of political parties and corrupt parties (compared to 66 international reporters at the 13th Congress) registered to participate in reporting on the 14th Congress.
Regarding information and propaganda work about the 14th Party Congress, Mr. Lai Xuan Mon - Standing Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee said that information and propaganda work about the 14th Party Congress in the press has been deployed synchronously and widely, creating a strong and positive spread in society about the 14th Party Congress - the historic Congress, which is a turning point of the country. The press has focused on highlighting the results and achievements in the 13th Party Congress term; the results and achievements of the country after 40 renovations;
Focus on propagating 7 resolutions of the Politburo showing innovative thinking and a breakthrough vision for the country's development; highlighting the positive assessments of the international community and international media about the strong development of Vietnam under the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam over the past 40 years, especially the term of the 13th Party Congress; reflecting the joyful and excited atmosphere of cadres, party members, and people from all walks of life towards the important political event of the country and the nation.

Speaking at the press conference, Politburo Member, Standing Secretary of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu acknowledged and highly appreciated the feelings and responsibilities of the team of reporters from domestic and international press agencies in the work of information and propaganda about the 14th Party Congress.
The Standing Secretary of the Secretariat emphasized that the information and propaganda work on the 14th Party Congress has been deployed early, with specific plans in the spirit of publicity, transparency, democracy, objectivity, accurately reflecting the Party's determination and the aspirations of cadres, party members and people. Thereby creating highlights, creating impressions, contributing to consolidating the trust of cadres, party members and people in the Congress; creating unity within the Party, consensus in society.
The Standing Secretary of the Secretariat requested the Center for Press of the 14th Congress to create the most favorable conditions in terms of infrastructure, technology, information and coordination of work for domestic and international journalists to effectively deploy propaganda work, creating a strong spread about the 14th Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam.
Before the opening ceremony of the Press Center and the international press conference on the 14th National Congress of the Party, Party and State leaders and a large number of delegates visited the Exhibition "From the Congress to the Congress"; Book and Newspaper Exhibition Area; Photo Exhibition Area "Under the Party flag, the country enters a new era"; Special stamp release ceremony to celebrate the 14th National Congress of the Party.
