The miracle of creative spirit overcoming difficulties
In August 2024, the 500kV line 3 project from Quang Trach (Quang Binh) to Pho Noi (Hung Yen) was officially inaugurated, multiplying the joy of the nation in 2024. The line 3 power line from here has been connected to all regions, carrying the belief and pride of the great solidarity strength of the entire Vietnamese people, also carrying the aspirations of "reaching high, flying far" in the journey of building and developing the country.
More than a year ago, when the Prime Minister assigned the task of completing the project by June 2024, few people thought that it could be done. Because this is a large-scale project, 519km long, 2 circuits with a total investment of more than 22,300 billion VND, requiring the implementation time to last at least 3-4 years to complete. We have to carry out construction simultaneously in difficult terrain and weather conditions, it can be said that at the beginning of the year it is cold and rainy, April, May, June is hot and dry, July, August is rainy, windy, flooded, landslide; construction is mainly in the Central region, which is likened to "rain bag, fire pan".
The spectacular completion and early finish of the project can be affirmed as a miracle of the Vietnamese people's spirit of creativity and overcoming difficulties. This is also a lesson in promoting the strength of national solidarity, mobilizing the entire political system with the spirit of "unanimity from top to bottom, smooth operation across the board", "supporting the front and the rear, one call, all respond".
At the conference to summarize the emulation and reward work in 2024 and sign the emulation covenant in 2025, Politburo member, Party Central Committee Secretary, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee Do Van Chien mentioned the impressions in 2024 regarding the response to emulation. Mr. Do Van Chien mentioned the success of the peak emulation campaign to complete the 500kV line from Quang Trach (Quang Binh) to Pho Noi (Hung Yen) launched by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and completed after 7 months. This result was achieved thanks to the spirit of great national unity being strongly promoted.
"It can be seen that the patriotic emulation movement has aroused patriotism, national pride, community solidarity, and the desire to contribute of each individual and each organization when the country is in danger, in times of difficulty and adversity" - Mr. Do Van Chien affirmed.
Emphasizing the strength of that spirit of solidarity, which has contributed to helping Lang Nu (Lao Cai province) revive its new appearance, at the resettlement area that was just inaugurated on December 15, 2024, Mr. Do Van Chien hopes that in the coming time, with the attention of the Party Committee and the government, Lang Nu will develop and become a place for sightseeing and tourism, a model of building new rural areas in the mountains, helping people have more livelihoods to develop the economy, and build the village to develop further.
Arouse and promote the spirit of initiative and creativity
According to Mr. Do Van Chien, in any circumstance, the Vietnam Fatherland Front must act as a solid bridge to maintain the "blood-flesh" relationship between the Party, the State and the people; maintain the solidarity of the components, classes and strata of the people; unite the ethnic majority with the ethnic minorities, between religious and non-religious people, between compatriots at home and overseas Vietnamese... Strongly arouse the belief, aspiration to contribute, creativity of all people, make the highest efforts to strive to successfully implement the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress.
Referring to the direction and tasks in 2025, Mr. Do Van Chien said that it is necessary to resolutely implement the program "The whole country joins hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in 2025" to practically celebrate the country's major holidays.
According to Mr. Do Van Chien, the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels needs to continue to innovate the content and methods of operation, stay close to the grassroots, stay close to people's lives, promote the application of information technology, adapt to the digital society to propagate and mobilize people in the direction of the whole people, comprehensively, with focus, key points, close to local realities. Arouse and strongly promote the spirit of initiative, creativity, self-reliance, self-reliance, aspiration to develop a prosperous and happy country.
Emphasizing that 2025 is the year of holding Party Congresses at all levels towards the 14th National Congress of the Party, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Do Van Chien suggested that members of the Emulation Cluster of socio-political organizations and federation organizations need to organize for union members to participate and contribute their enthusiastic, responsible, practical opinions, originating from real life, to the content of the draft documents submitted to the congress so that Party committees at all levels can absorb and include them in the documents for implementation.
In particular, the 14th National Party Congress will decide on historic issues, bringing the country into a new era - the era of national development. Therefore, in this new era, each organization in the Emulation Cluster must set out what tasks and programs to spread this spirit.
