Prime Minister attends National Great Unity Day in Lang Son

Lang Son - On the morning of November 14, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh attended the National Great Unity Day 2024 at Zone 8, Na Sam town, Van Lang district.

At the festival, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, delegates, officials and people of all ethnic groups reviewed the 94-year tradition of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and listened to reports on the situation of the great national unity bloc and the results of implementing campaigns and patriotic emulation movements in 2024 in the locality.

Accordingly, zone 8 is 1 km from Na Sam town center, with a total natural area of ​​112.36 hectares, with 134 households and 590 people, including 3 ethnic groups Tay, Nung, Kinh living together.

Zone 8 has been recognized by the People's Committee of Na Sam town and has maintained the title of "cultural residential area" for 5 consecutive years.

Up to now, nearly 90% of households in this neighborhood have been recognized as cultural families; 100% of junior high school graduates continue their studies in high school. 100% of households have bathrooms, hygienic water storage facilities, safe toilets and ensure 3 clean...

Sharing joy with the people, the Prime Minister emphasized that choosing to attend the National Unity Day in difficult border and mountainous areas is to grasp the situation, listen, and find solutions to remove bottlenecks in transportation and high-quality human resources in these areas. At the same time, promoting the development of education, healthcare, electricity, and internet infrastructure, eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses, eliminating hunger, reducing poverty, and uniting to rise up and become rich.

At the Festival, the Prime Minister commended the Party Committee, government and people of Na Sam town and Zone 8 for their solidarity and efforts to overcome difficulties and challenges, achieving many positive results in socio-economic development, preserving cultural identity, and improving the material and spiritual life of the people.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh also requested that in the coming time, Party committees at all levels, authorities, the Fatherland Front, political and social organizations and the people continue to join hands, unite, uphold the spirit of self-reliance, solidarity, encourage and help poor households and families in difficult circumstances to rise up to have a better life with the spirit of "leaving no one behind."

In particular, the Prime Minister hopes that people will continue to support the Dong Dang - Tra Linh Expressway Project to soon complete the project as planned, contributing to economic and social development.

Besides, note that people of zone 8, Lang Son province and border provinces in general, with the spirit of great national solidarity, international solidarity, strive to build a peaceful, friendly, cooperative and developing border area.
