On the morning of April 5, at the National Assembly House, the National Assembly Delegation (NA Delegation) of Cao Bang province held a meeting to elect the Head and Deputy Head of the NA Delegation of the 16th term, term 2026-2031.
The National Assembly Delegation of Cao Bang province includes 7 delegates, including 3 delegates working at central agencies and 4 delegates working locally.
At the meeting, delegates listened to announcements about the election process, discussed and conducted voting to elect positions according to regulations.
With the spirit of democracy, solidarity and responsibility, the delegates trusted and elected Mr. Be Thanh Tinh - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, NA Deputy of the 16th term - to hold the position of Head of the NA Delegation of Cao Bang province.
Mr. Duong Mac Kien - Provincial Party Committee member, Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Truong Ha commune, National Assembly Deputy of the 16th term - was elected to hold the position of Deputy Head of the full-time delegation.
Speaking to receive the assignment, Mr. Be Thanh Tinh emphasized that this is not only an honor but also a great responsibility to the Party, the National Assembly and voters.
In the context of the country entering a new stage of development, delegates in the delegation will continue to strive to improve the quality of activities, meeting the expectations of the people.
Accordingly, the Provincial National Assembly Delegation will closely follow the direction of the National Assembly Standing Committee and the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, organize the implementation of tasks to ensure science and efficiency, and at the same time promote flexibility and creativity in activities.
The consolidation of personnel right from the first session is considered an important starting step, creating a foundation for the Delegation of National Assembly Deputies of Cao Bang province of the 16th term to continue to innovate, improve operational efficiency, and make positive contributions to the general activities of the National Assembly and the development of the locality.
