On April 5, the Delegation of National Assembly Deputies of Nghe An province, 16th term, held the first meeting to elect the positions of Head of Delegation, Deputy Head of Delegation for the term 2026 - 2031. Mr. Nguyen Khac Than - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Summoner of the Delegation of National Assembly Deputies of Nghe An province chaired the meeting.
Attending were Mr. Doan Minh Huan - Member of the Politburo, Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, and National Assembly deputies from the 16th Nghe An Provincial National Assembly Delegation.
At the meeting, after listening to the Chief of Office of the National Assembly Delegation and the Provincial People's Council approve the personnel introduction documents, the delegates discussed and conducted a secret ballot according to regulations.
As a result, Mr. Nguyen Khac Than was trusted and elected to hold the position of Head of the Delegation of National Assembly Deputies of Nghe An province, term XVI, term 2026 - 2031.
Ms. Thai Thi An Chung - Member of the Provincial Party Committee Executive Committee, Deputy Head of the 15th Provincial National Assembly Delegation continued to be elected to hold the position of Deputy Head of the 16th Provincial National Assembly Delegation, term 2026 - 2031. Mr. Tran Nhat Minh was assigned to hold the position of full-time National Assembly deputy.
Immediately after having the results, the Delegation of National Assembly Deputies of Nghe An province completes the dossier and sends it to the Delegation Affairs Committee to submit to the National Assembly Standing Committee for consideration and approval according to regulations.
