On November 17, the Office of the People's Committee of Son La province informed that the Provincial People's Committee has just issued a decision on the establishment of a Council for appraising land use planning until 2030 at the district level in the province.
Decision 2416 clearly states that the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee in charge of Natural Resources and Environment is the Chairman of the Council; the Director of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment is the Vice Chairman of the Council.
Council members include: Leaders of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; Deputy Director of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment; Deputy Director of the Provincial Statistics Office; Deputy Director of the Department of Planning and Investment; Deputy Director of the Department of Home Affairs; Deputy Director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development.
Deputy Director of the Department of Construction; Deputy Director of the Department of Finance; Deputy Director of the Department of Transport; Deputy Director of the Department of Industry and Trade; Deputy Director of the Department of Health; Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training; Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism; Deputy Head of the Provincial Ethnic Committee; Deputy Commander of the Provincial Military Command; Deputy Director of the Provincial Police and leaders of the People's Committees of districts and cities.
The head of the Department of Land and Mapping - Department of Natural Resources and Environment will be the council secretary.
The Council is responsible for organizing consultation meetings and appraising the Land Use Planning to 2030 for districts and cities at the request of the District People's Committee and the Department of Natural Resources and Environment.
According to the decision of the Provincial People's Committee, the appraisal council works part-time, all regimes are implemented according to current regulations of the State. The standing body of the appraisal council is located at the Department of Natural Resources and Environment and the tasks of the council members are assigned by the Chairman of the council.
The Appraisal Council begins operating from the date of establishment (November 15, 2024) and self-dissolves and ceases operations upon completion of its tasks.
It is known that Mr. Dang Ngoc Hau is currently Vice Chairman of Son La Provincial People's Committee in charge of Natural Resources and Environment.
