The Inspection Committee of the Bac Ninh Provincial Party Committee (term 2020-2025) has just held its 36th session.
At this meeting, reviewing the results of the inspection when there were signs of violations and the results of the review, proposing disciplinary action, the Inspection Committee of the Bac Ninh Provincial Party Committee found that a number of Party members of the Party Committee of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment violated working regulations; violated regulations on preventing and combating corruption and negativity, regulations on what Party members are not allowed to do and the responsibility to set an example; lack of self-cultivation, training, degradation in political ideology, ethics, lifestyle; violated Party regulations, State laws in preparing and appraising environmental impact assessment reports, and granting environmental licenses.
The above violations and shortcomings have caused serious consequences, outraged public opinion, negatively affected the reputation of the Party organization, local government, agencies and work units, to the point of requiring disciplinary action.
Considering the content, nature, level, consequences, and causes of the violation; based on Party regulations, the Inspection Committee of Bac Ninh Provincial Party Committee decided to take disciplinary action:
Expelled from the Party 4 comrades: Dang Van Duong - Deputy Secretary of Party Cell 4, Head of the Department of Environment, former Deputy Secretary of Party Cell 7, Director of the Center for Natural Resources and Environment Monitoring; Luu Xuan Hung - Party member of Party Cell 1, Deputy Head of the Department of Water, Minerals, Hydrometeorology and Climate Change, former Party Committee member of the Party Committee of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment, Secretary of Party Cell 4, Deputy Head of the Department of Environmental Protection; Nguyen Duc Hieu - Party Committee member of Party Cell 4, civil servant of the Department of Environment, former Head of the Department of Appraisal of the Department of Environmental Protection; Ngo Xuan Hau - Party member of Party Cell 7, employee of the Center for Natural Resources and Environment Monitoring.
Remove from all positions in the Party the following two comrades: Le Duc Tho - Secretary of Party Cell 4, Deputy Head of the Environment Department, former Deputy Head of the Environmental Protection Department; Tran Chung - Deputy Secretary of Party Cell 7, Director of the Center for Natural Resources and Environment Monitoring, former Deputy Secretary of Party Cell 4, Deputy Head of the Environmental Protection Department.
Warning for 3 comrades: Dam Ngan - Party member of Party Cell 4, civil servant of the Department of Environment, former Head of the Department of Environmental Communication and Biodiversity, Department of Environmental Protection; Nguyen Tien Binh - Party member of Party Cell 4, civil servant of the Department of Environment, former Head of the Department of Environmental Control, Department of Environmental Protection; Truong Thi Bich Phuong - Party member of Party Cell 1, Inspector of the Department of Inspection, former Party member of Party Cell 4, Head of the Department of Administration - General Affairs, Department of Environmental Protection.
The Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission proposed that competent authorities consider and discipline comrade Nguyen Dinh Phuong, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Party Committee's Inspection Commission, Deputy Director of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment.
The Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission requested the Party Committee of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment for the 2020-2025 term to seriously review and learn from experience in the leadership, direction and implementation of the Working Regulations; strengthen management and education of cadres and party members; and rectify state management work in all management areas.
