Politburo Member, Prime Minister Le Minh Hung signed Decision No. 1055/QD-TTg establishing the Steering Committee for deploying activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs' Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2027) (Steering Committee).
According to the above decision, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Prime Minister Pham Thi Thanh Tra is the Head of the Steering Committee.
The Deputy Heads of the Steering Committee include: Minister of Home Affairs Do Thanh Binh (Standing Deputy Head); Senior Lieutenant General Le Quoc Hung - Deputy Minister of Public Security; Senior Lieutenant General Le Quang Minh - Deputy Director of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army; Vice Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee Vu Thu Ha.
The members of the Steering Committee include: Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission Nguyen Quang Duc; Deputy Chief of the Standing Office of the Party Central Committee Office Nguyen Thi Thu Ha; Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Cao Xuan Thao; Deputy Minister of Finance Nguyen Thi Bich Ngoc; Deputy Minister of Construction Nguyen Xuan Sang; Deputy Minister of Health Tran Van Thuan; Deputy Minister of Education and Training Nguyen Thi Quyen Thanh; Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Trinh Thi Thuy; Deputy Chairman of the Government Office Do Ngoc Huynh.

The Steering Committee is an inter-sectoral coordinating organization, with the function of assisting the Government and the Prime Minister in directing and coordinating the settlement of important inter-sectoral tasks related to the implementation of practical and solemn activities, commensurate with the stature and significance of the 80th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs' Day.
The Steering Committee has the task of researching and proposing specific and effective plans, solutions, and ways to implement activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs' Day; directing relevant ministries, agencies, and localities to closely coordinate and focus on promptly resolving difficulties and obstacles in the implementation process.
