The Hoa Lien - Tuy Loan Expressway project has a total length of 11.47km, passing through Da Nang city. The project started in September 2023 and is expected to be completed in November 2025, however, the Government aims to shorten the completion progress to August 2025. The total investment of the project is 2,112.985 billion VND.
Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh listened to a report on the project implementation progress, difficulties and obstacles, as well as solutions to resolve them. According to the report, the site clearance work has been 100% completed, and contractors have reached the construction of 11.37/11.47km. However, there are still some problems related to the relocation of some technical infrastructure works and the construction of resettlement areas.
Regarding construction materials, the report shows that the supply has been identified to ensure inventory and quality. However, some actual materials that contractors buy from the mines have higher prices than the local price announcement. This needs to be inspected and reviewed by competent authorities to avoid price increases, causing difficulties for construction units. At the same time, the increase in the capacity of Truong Ban quarry is still facing difficulties in administrative procedures, affecting the supply of materials for the project. The Permanent Deputy Prime Minister requested local authorities to urgently and thoroughly handle these problems to ensure construction progress.
The Permanent Deputy Prime Minister also directed construction units and Da Nang City to work with the Southern Da Son II stone quarry of Phu My Hoa Company Limited (about nearly 600,000m3) to remove obstacles to provide the Hoa Lien - Tuy Loan Expressway Project with about 200,000m3 of stone.
In addition, the Permanent Deputy Prime Minister highly appreciated the efforts of investors, contractors and local authorities in implementing the project. At the same time, it is required that units focus on removing difficulties and obstacles, especially the issue of construction materials and relocation of technical infrastructure, ensuring the project completion progress is on schedule. Mr. Nguyen Hoa Binh also emphasized the importance of the project for the socio-economic development of Da Nang city and the Central region, and requested units to make every effort to put the project into operation as soon as possible.
