On the afternoon of February 25, Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long visited Da Nang C Hospital on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of Vietnam Doctors' Day (February 27, 1955 - February 27, 2025).
Formerly known as the Da Nang C Hospital, the Department of Medicine of Region V. After nearly 70 years of formation, striving and developing, Da Nang C Hospital has continuously grown strongly and matured in all aspects, making outstanding efforts in medical examination and treatment for intermediate and senior staff and people in the Central - Western region.
Da Nang C Hospital is a Grade 1 general hospital under the Ministry of Health, with specialized technical expertise. The hospital consists of 43 departments, rooms, and centers with a total of 737 staff and workers.
The hospital's great contributions have been recognized by the Party and the State with many noble titles such as the Third Class Labor Medal in 2014; Certificate of Merit of the Prime Minister in 2016; Certificate of Merit of the Minister of Health for many consecutive years.
Speaking at the visit, Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long emphasized that mentioning the marks of Vietnamese medicine is mentioning thousands of doctors and medical staff who have silently served in difficult and dangerous conflicts, even sacrificing for the cause of national liberation and national reunification; mentioning the "white-armed soldiers" in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic... and many other profound achievements and impressions of the health sector.
In the new development stage, the task assigned to the Da Nang health sector as well as Da Nang C Hospital is very heavy, but extremely glorious.
The Deputy Prime Minister believes that the Da Nang health sector in general and Da Nang General Hospital in particular will promote the tradition and achievements, continue to strive, and effectively implement assigned tasks.
In the coming time, Da Nang C Hospital as well as the Da Nang health sector need to well implement the policies, guidelines, policies and laws of the Party and State in the health sector, especially the 12 directives of General Secretary To Lam at the visit and working session with the Ministry of Health on February 24.
Focus on effectively implementing Resolution No. 57 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation; Project 6 of the Government on digital transformation. Implement the streamlining of the hospital's apparatus, operating effectively and efficiently in accordance with the spirit of Resolution No. 18 and Resolution No. 19 of the Central Executive Committee.
On the occasion of Vietnamese Doctors' Day, Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long, on behalf of the Government and the Prime Minister, sent his best wishes to leaders, cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers in the health sector in general and Da Nang C Hospital in particular.
