According to the decision, Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Prime Minister Le Tien Chau is Deputy Head of Steering Committee 742.
Deputy Chairman of the Government Office Nguyen Van Thang is a member of Steering Committee 742.
Steering Committee 742 is an inter-sectoral coordinating organization, assisting the Prime Minister in researching, directing, and coordinating to resolve important inter-sectoral tasks on organizing judgment enforcement, recovering assets appropriated and lost in cases related to Van Thinh Phat Group.
The Steering Committee has the task of researching, consulting, recommending, and proposing directions and solutions to solve important inter-sectoral issues regarding the organization of judgment enforcement and recovery of assets appropriated and lost in cases related to Van Thinh Phat Group.
Direct and coordinate between ministries, ministerial-level agencies, government-attached agencies and relevant agencies and organizations in resolving important and inter-sectoral issues in judgment enforcement.
The Ministry of Justice is the standing agency of the Steering Committee, using the existing apparatus to help the Steering Committee perform its tasks.
