On June 5, Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Prime Minister Le Tien Chau and the working delegation inspected the progress of the implementation of inter-level boarding school projects in border communes of Cao Bang province.
Participating in the working delegation were Provincial Party Secretary, Chairman of Cao Bang Provincial People's Council Phan Thang An; leaders of a number of central and local ministries and branches.
The delegation inspected the reality of 3 inter-level boarding general education school projects including: Truong Ha Primary and Secondary School, Tong Cot and Tra Linh. The projects are invested from the central budget with a total investment of 190 - 220 billion VND/school.
In which, the Truong Ha Primary and Secondary School project is built on an area of nearly 5ha with a total investment of 220 billion VND; the Tong Cot Primary and Secondary School project has a total investment of 190 billion VND; the Tra Linh Primary and Secondary School project has a total investment of 210 billion VND.

The projects started in January 2026, including many items such as classrooms, administration buildings, teacher and student dormitories, dining halls, libraries, multi-purpose buildings, playgrounds and synchronous technical infrastructure systems.
According to the investor's report, to date, the Truong Ha project has reached about 20% of the construction volume, Tong Cot has reached 22%, and Tra Linh has reached 59%.
Through actual inspection, Deputy Prime Minister Le Tien Chau acknowledged the efforts of the province, the investor and contractors in the project implementation process in mountainous areas, with complex terrain and difficult construction conditions.
The Deputy Prime Minister requested relevant units to proactively remove obstacles, mobilize maximum manpower and machinery, and organize scientific construction to accelerate the progress of items, ensuring completion on schedule.
Emphasizing the particularly important meaning of the projects for the cause of education in ethnic minority areas and border areas, the Deputy Prime Minister requested investors and construction units to ensure the quality of works, labor safety, and strengthen independent supervision during the implementation process.
The goal is to put the works into use before the 2026 - 2027 school year, creating better learning and living conditions for students in border areas, while contributing to improving the quality of education and narrowing the gap in learning conditions between regions.
The completion of inter-level boarding schools is expected to contribute to human resource development, ensure social security and promote sustainable development in the border area of Cao Bang province in the new period.
