At noon on October 30, Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh and the working delegation directly inspected flood response work and visited and presented gifts to people in flooded areas in Huu Tan village, Ninh Chau commune, Quang Tri province.

At the destinations, the Deputy Prime Minister acknowledged the proactiveness of the authorities and functional forces in responding to and evacuating people to safe places, and at the same time requested localities to continue monitoring weather developments, ensuring the safety of people's lives and property.

The Deputy Prime Minister hopes that people will continue to proactively respond to floods and rains, not being subjective when the water recedes.
Millions of arms turn to compatriots affected by storms and floods
Consecutive storms and floods have caused many deaths, missing and injuries; many houses and production and business establishments have had their roofs blown off and suffered heavy damage. People across the northern mountainous provinces and the central provinces are struggling to cope with floods and heavy losses in human lives and property due to floods and thunderstorms.
