On the morning of March 20, Party Central Committee member, Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Chi Dung and the working delegation visited the relic site of the Vietnam Youth Revolutionary Association Headquarters (Quangzhou City, Guangdong Province), China, according to the Government Newspaper.
The relic site is located at house number 13 (now 248-250 Van Minh street, Guangzhou city, Guangdong province, China, a place associated with the revolutionary career of President Ho Chi Minh in Guangzhou from 1924.
This place is known as the Headquarters of the Vietnam Youth Revolutionary General Confederation, the predecessor organization of the Communist Party of Vietnam, founded by comrade Nguyen Ai Quoc, and published by Thanh Nien newspaper, the mouthpiece of the General Confederation.
In 1971, the house at 13 Van Minh Street was decided by the People's Republic of China to be preserved as a memorial site for President Ho Chi Minh, named "House of the Vietnam Youth Revolutionary Association". The relic is under the management of the Guangdong Revolutionary History Museum and has been ranked as a National Historical and Cultural Relic of China.
Writing in the pen, Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Chi Dung expressed his great emotion when visiting the relic - where beloved President Ho Chi Minh had spent years of revolutionary activities, directly training the first generations of communists of the Vietnamese revolution.
"This is not only a place to preserve the lasting historical memories over time but also a symbol, a place to foster traditional friendship and the close affection between Vietnam and China; both a comrade and a brotherhood between the two Parties, two countries and the people of Vietnam and China" - the Deputy Prime Minister wrote.
Also in the pen, Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Chi Dung sincerely thanked the Party Committee, government and people of Quang Dong province for always paying attention to preserving and conserving the historical relic of the Headquarters of the Vietnam Youth Revolutionary Association, making the relic a "red address" to educate revolutionary traditions and the friendship of "comrades and brothers" for the younger generations of the two countries.
Previously, the Deputy Prime Minister and the working delegation offered flowers at the grave of martyr Pham Hong Thai in Hoang Hoa Cuong Cemetery Park (Quang Chau City, Quang Dong Province).
