According to the Government Portal, on the project of aircraft maintenance and repair center in Van Don at the proposal of Swire Group, UK, Standing Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh asked the People's Committee of Quang Ninh Province to urgently coordinate with relevant ministries and branches to create conditions to attract foreign investors to participate in aircraft maintenance and maintenance activities at Van Don International Airport.
Regarding the investment policy of the high-class tourism service area project in Van Don Economic Zone, Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh assigned the Ministry of Finance to preside over and coordinate with relevant agencies to urgently complete the evaluation of the project file in accordance with the direction of Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha in Document No. 436/VPCP-CN dated January 19, 2024, submitted to the Prime Minister before April 15, 2025.
Regarding the project of Ha Long Xanh complex urban area, Quang Ninh People's Committee actively reviews and adjusts the relevant planning according to its competence and regulations. In case of problems and exceeding the authority, the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Construction are assigned according to the functions and tasks assigned to research, review and propose plans to remove obstacles for localities, including Quang Ninh to amend and supplement law -related laws; Report to the Government to submit to the National Assembly at the 9th session.
Deputy Prime Minister assigned ministries: Education and Training, Agriculture and Environment, Construction, Health according to the assigned tasks, urgently issued a written response to solving problems and proposals of the People's Committee of Quang Ninh Province, with the highest responsibility, not responding generally, unknown or just citing current law provisions; Completed before April 15, 2025.
The Ministry of Finance shall assume the prime responsibility for, coordinate with relevant agencies to handle problems to urgently receive the handover of air storage stations at Van Don International Airport as prescribed.
The ministries and central agencies work closely with the People's Committee of Quang Ninh and investors to remove difficulties and obstacles for key projects of the province, soon bring projects into construction, create new development locations, attract social investment resources, promote sustainable economic growth.
