On the morning of January 19, in Dien Ban town, Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh kindly visited the living conditions of the people of Quang Nam.
Accompanying him were Mr. Nguyen Xuan Hung - Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, representatives of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and leaders of Quang Nam province.
The Deputy Prime Minister requested provincial leaders to pay attention to taking care of people's material and spiritual lives during the Lunar New Year 2025, especially policy beneficiaries, meritorious people, the poor, people in remote areas and workers.
According to a report from Quang Nam province, during the Lunar New Year 2025, in addition to the gifts from the Central Government, the province plans to spend about 71 billion VND to pay Tet visits to people with meritorious services, relatives of martyrs, and social protection beneficiaries receiving monthly allowances from poor households. The province will also spend about 1.5 billion VND to visit and give gifts to prestigious people in ethnic minority areas and outstanding people with meritorious services.
For workers, the average salary of employees in all types of enterprises in the province is more than 10.7 million VND/person/month. The average Lunar New Year bonus for employees in 2025 is about 8.7 million VND/person. To date, there are no enterprises in the province that owe employees' salaries.
With the motto "All union members and employees have Tet", on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025, the Trade Unions at all levels in the province organized 22 welfare programs for union members and employees with a total budget of over 6 billion VND.
On this occasion, Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh presented 450 Tet gifts to poor households, near-poor households, and workers in difficult circumstances in Dien Ban town. At the same time, he sent New Year wishes of peace and prosperity to the leaders and people of Quang Nam.
Previously, the Permanent Deputy Prime Minister directly visited and presented gifts to two 1/4 war invalids, Mr. Hoang Kim Duc (born in 1948) and Mr. Nguyen Xuan Ngoc (born in 1946), both residing in Vinh Dien ward, Dien Ban town.
On the same day, the delegation visited and burned incense at the house of Vietnamese Heroic Mother Nguyen Thi Thu and visited Vietnamese Heroic Mother Le Thi Tri; burned incense at the Memorial House of Heroic Martyr Nguyen Van Troi in Dien Thang Trung ward, Dien Ban town and wished a Happy New Year to Military Region 5.
At each destination, Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh expressed his deep gratitude for the sacrifices of Heroic Vietnamese Mothers, Heroic Martyrs, and families with contributions to the cause of national liberation.
