The Government Office has just issued Document No. 3925/VPCP-CN dated May 7, 2025, conveying the opinion of Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha on implementing Component Project 1 of the North-South Expressway Construction Investment Project in the West, Gia Nghia - Chon Thanh section.
Previously, the Minister of Finance, on behalf of the Government, signed Document No. 278/TTr-CP dated April 26, 2025 to the National Assembly Standing Committee on adjusting the form of selecting investors for Component Project 1 of the North-South Expressway Construction Investment Project in the West, Gia Nghia (Dak Nong) - Chon Thanh (Binh Phuoc).
Following the direction of the Prime Minister, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha requested the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Construction and the People's Committee of Binh Phuoc Province to monitor and direct the implementation of the project to ensure strict, effective and anti -corruption, negative, wasteful ...; Pay attention to ensure quality, progress, not to wear prices; Determining a reasonable and harmonious fee rate between the State, businesses and people.
Component project 1 of the North-South Expressway Construction Investment Project in the West, Gia Nghia - Chon Thanh section, has a starting point intersecting with Ho Chi Minh Road (existent National Highway 14) at about Km 192+400, in Kien Thanh commune, Dak R'Lap district, Dak Nong province; the end point intersecting with Ho Chi Minh road, Chon Thanh - Duc Hoa section, in Chon Thanh town, Binh Phuoc province.
The total length of the route under the Project is about 124.13 km, of which the section passing through Dak R'lap district (Dak Nong province) is 23.10 km and Bu Dang district, Dong Phu, Dong Xoai city, Chon Thanh town (Binh Phuoc province) is 101.03 km.
According to the plan, the route has a completed 6-lane phase, with a roadbed width of 32.25 m; the section through Dong Xoai city has a roadbed width of 33 m; during the investment phase, the route will be invested in a phase with a scale of 4 complete expressway lanes.
The project has a time to prepare and start construction in 2025, basically complete in 2026, and put into operation in 2027.
