On the evening of January 26, Party Central Committee member and Deputy Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission Vo Van Dung visited, wished a happy new year and presented gifts to workers and laborers in Bac Lieu province.
At the ceremony, the leaders of the Bac Lieu Provincial Federation of Labor reported on the work of caring for workers, union members, and laborers in the province on the occasion of the Spring of At Ty 2025.
In addition to implementing policies and plans to take care of Tet for workers, union members and laborers in difficult circumstances, trade unions at all levels also propagate and mobilize agencies, units and enterprises to actively organize Tet care activities with the motto "Ensure all people and laborers have Tet, no one is left behind".
On the occasion of the Spring of At Ty 2024, Trade Unions at all levels in Bac Lieu province also focused on organizing many practical and meaningful activities with the theme "Happy Tet - Spring of gratitude to the Party".
Trade Unions at all levels in the province have visited, encouraged and given gifts to 3,800 union members in difficult circumstances with a total value of over 2 billion VND.
The Provincial Federation of Labor also promptly distributed over 2,000 gifts from the Trade Union Tet Market program; disbursed 15 projects from the Provincial Federation of Labor's capital support fund for poor workers and civil servants to 367 union members to borrow over 4 billion VND to supplement their family's economy, contributing to improving the lives and income of union members.
Speaking at the gift-giving ceremony, Deputy Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission Vo Van Dung sent his best wishes to all Bac Lieu workers and laborers for a warm and happy spring.
On behalf of the Central Internal Affairs Committee, Mr. Vo Van Dung welcomed the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and the Trade Unions at all levels of Bac Lieu province for organizing many activities to take care of Tet for workers and laborers so that "everyone has Tet, no one is left behind".
Mr. Vo Van Dung emphasized that workers and laborers are an extremely important force to contribute to the comprehensive and sustainable development of the country. In Bac Lieu, each worker and laborer in any field has a very meaningful contribution to the development goals of the locality; especially workers and laborers working in special fields such as: urban, aquaculture, health, etc.
Deputy Head of the Central Internal Affairs Committee Vo Van Dung suggested that the province should build and organize activities to honor the silent examples of workers and laborers who have contributed to making the homeland green - clean - beautiful; those who wholeheartedly take care of people's health; golden hands in the fields of architecture, construction, health care, etc. Thereby, so that the social community can see the attention of the Party and State for workers and laborers in particular, the important contributions and solidarity of all Vietnamese people in general on the path of national development.
On this occasion, Deputy Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission Vo Van Dung presented 100 gifts to workers and laborers facing difficulties. Each gift included 300,000 VND worth of goods and 1 million VND in cash.
Also on the same day, the Deputy Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission presented 200 gifts to policy families, poor households, and near-poor households in Hong Dan district; presented 200 gifts to policy families, people with revolutionary contributions; poor households, near-poor households, and households in difficult circumstances in communes and towns of Dong Hai district, Bac Lieu province.
