On the side of the Ministry of Public Security, there were General Luong Tam Quang - Politburo member, Secretary of the Central Public Security Party Committee, Minister of Public Security; 246 advanced models in the People's Public Security (CAND) and the Forces participating in protecting security and order at the grassroots level.
At the meeting, General Secretary To Lam emphasized that in the revolutionary struggle, national liberation, and peacekeeping of the country as well as the movement to build and develop the country, the emulation movement is of great significance, mobilizing the strength of the entire political system, all officers and soldiers of the armed forces, and the entire people to participate.
Everyone is responsible for properly implementing the policies and guidelines of the Party and State; turning those policies and resolutions into reality, then there is no other way but to have an emulation movement.
The People's Public Security Forces have promoted heroic traditions and achieved many successes in the patriotic emulation movement, protecting national security, maintaining social order and safety, contributing to maintaining stable peace, serving the country's development, and the prosperous and happy life of the people.
According to the General Secretary, the meeting with delegates attending the 9th Congress is a continuation of many feats, achievements, and beautiful actions of advanced models in the entire People's Public Security force in all fields.
With typical reports, this is an opportunity to re-evaluate the results of the movement, an opportunity to be proud of the achievements and feats that the force has achieved. This is also an opportunity to exchange experiences, thoughts, feelings, and actions.
There have been many advanced examples, even more contributions that have not been discovered - the General Secretary said.
According to the General Secretary, each typical example, each beautiful behavior, each work result of the force, reminds us of thoughts. From leaders and commanders at all levels to officers, soldiers, each citizen, each uncle, brothers and sisters participating with the police force at the grassroots level have made many contributions.
Criminals do not use any means to lure or bribe officers and soldiers. If they are not steadfast, they can easily fall. When they cannot use bullets to pull them along the road, they use real bullets to destroy them. Even when cadres overcome these tricks and are still resilient, they continue to use other tricks (slander, spreading news, division...).
The General Secretary shared the above difficulties and suggested "to create better working conditions for comrades, more mature, more steadfast, more confident". This is also a lesson from advanced models. The General Secretary was happy that there were systems, regimes, and policies for cadres and the Ministry of Public Security that have done a very good job and are exemplary in this regard.
The General Secretary requested advanced models to continue promoting the 50-year tradition of the People's Public Security force. Each person has an initiative, action, contributing to the overall achievements and results of the country and unit.
