On April 22, Ms. Ngo Phuong Ly - wife of General Secretary To Lam, received Ms. Leyla Aliyeva - Vice President of Heydar Aliyev Fund, who is on a working trip to Vietnam.
In the exhibition space of the Vietnam Fine Arts Museum, Mrs. Ngo Phuong Ly received and introduced to Ms. Leyla Aliyeva many works of art, reflecting the cultural identity and historical depth of the Vietnamese people; typically the 9 national treasures of Vietnam, such as the statue of Mrs. Quan Am Buddha (16th century), paintings: "Two young women and children" ( painting To Ngoc Van, 1944), "Em Thuy" ( painting Tran Van Can, 2018), traditional lacquer paintings and modern paintings bearing a strong national imprint.

Affirming that culture is a solid foundation for friendship between countries, First Lady Ngo Phuong Ly said that choosing the Vietnam Fine Arts Museum to introduce to Ms. Leyla Aliyeva shows Vietnam's respect and preservation of cultural heritages and the desire to share cultural and artistic values with international friends, including Azerbaijan.
Appreciating the contributions of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation to the relationship between the two countries, President Ngo Phuong Ly emphasized that Vietnam is currently promoting the implementation of social security policies and human resource development; Vietnam wishes to promote cooperation with Azerbaijan through cooperation projects on culture, education, tourism, environment as well as charity activities towards women and children.

Ms. Leyla Aliyeva - Vice President of Heydar Aliyev Foundation respectfully thanked his wife Ngo Phuong Ly for her warm welcome in the cultural space rich in Vietnamese identity. Expressing her deep impression of the beauty of Vietnamese art, Ms. Leyla Aliyeva said that Azerbaijan is a country with a rich culture with rich painting, architecture, cuisine, and music and hoped that the Vietnamese people would have the opportunity to explore the unique culture of Azerbaijan.
Vice President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation affirmed that the fund always focuses on promoting heritage conservation projects, considering this an important bridge to foster friendship between the two countries, promote cooperation between social organizations and humanitarian funds of the two countries, contribute to strengthening friendship and expanding multifaceted cooperation between Vietnam and Azerbaijan.
