The naming ceremony for the dap phong hoa is a diplomatic ceremony that Singapore only reserves for special high-class guests visiting Singapore.
At the ceremony, Prime Minister Lawrence Wong directly welcomed General Secretary To Lam and his wife at the main gate of the Singapore Plant Garden and invited them to the location of the flower naming ceremony.
Singapore decided to name this new flower "Papilionanda To Lam Linh Ly".
After signing the anniversary, General Secretary To Lam and his wife attached a sign to the orchid tree and visited the orchid garden. On this occasion, General Secretary To Lam presented a souvenir to the Director of the National Park.
The Singapore Plant Garden was established in 1859 and is the first world heritage site of Singapore recognized by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UN UNESCO) in July 2015.
With tens of thousands of b breeze trees, including about 1,200 natural species and more than 2,000 hybrid species, this is considered the largest breeze display site in the world.
