The Politburo decided to transfer, assign, and appoint Mr. Pham Dai Duong - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Policy and Strategy Committee - to participate in the Executive Committee, Standing Committee and hold the position of Secretary of Phu Tho Provincial Party Committee for the term 2025-2030.
Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Organization Committee Le Minh Hung presented the Politburo's decision to Mr. Pham Dai Duong.
Before Mr. Pham Dai Duong was transferred, assigned, and appointed as Secretary of Phu Tho Provincial Party Committee, the person holding this position was Mr. Truong Quoc Huy, from September 30, 2025.
Mr. Pham Dai Duong (52 years old, from Hanoi); master's degree in Science and Technology Management; Bachelor of Chemistry, Bachelor of Banking; senior in political theory; National Assembly deputy of the XV term.
Mr. Duong used to be Deputy Head and then Head of the Management Board of Hoa Lac High-Tech Park; Deputy Minister of Science and Technology; Chairman of Phu Yen Provincial People's Committee; Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Phu Yen Provincial National Assembly Delegation, Deputy Head of the Central Economic Committee.
In February 2025, he held the position of Deputy Head of the Central Policy and Strategy Committee.
