Along with that, information on outstanding results and achievements in the 5 years of implementing the Resolution of the Provincial Party Congress for the 2020 - 2025 term; goals, directions, tasks and breakthroughs and main growth drivers for the 2025 - 2030 term.
The press conference also informed about the economic and social situation of Phu Tho province in the first 9 months of 2025; the results of implementing the 2-level local government model in the province; outstanding results of emulation movements; works with signs to celebrate the Congress.
Accordingly, the 1st Phu Tho Provincial Party Congress has the theme: Building a clean and strong Party Committee and political system in all aspects; promoting the strength of solidarity and cultural communication in the homeland; pioneering in innovation, creativity, digital transformation; creating a breakthrough for rapid and sustainable development, together with the whole country to be self-reliant, confident, and move forward in the era of national growth.
The Congress was held with the motto: Solidarity - Democracy - Corruption - Drum - Development.
The Provincial Party Executive Committee has developed a personnel project for the 2025-2030 term to ensure standards, quantity, and composition structure according to the provisions of Directive No. 45 of the Politburo and Conclusion 150-KL/TW, dated April 14, 2025 of the Politburo, guiding the development of a personnel plan for the provincial Party Committee under the scope of merger, consolidation, and newly established commune level.
One of the new features of the personnel structure of the Provincial Party Committee Executive Committee for the 2025 - 2030 term is that there are over 6% of cadres with scientific and technological qualifications (Diccation 45-CT/TW of the Politburo stipulates as 5%). The Politburo and the Central Party Secretariat have unanimously approved the Personnel Project of the 1st Phu Tho Provincial Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030.
Specifically, the total number of members of the Provincial Party Executive Committee who meet the standards and conditions for re-election is 97 people; the total number of members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee who meet the standards and conditions for re-election is 27 people; The total number of members of the Provincial Party Inspection Committee who are old enough to be re-elected is 13 people.
According to the schedule, the regular session will start by the Congress from 8:30 a.m. on September 29, 2025 (Monday), the official session will open at 7:30 a.m. on September 30, 2025.
The Congress was attended by 500 delegates, representing more than 257,000 party members of 152 party committees under the Provincial Party Committee. Of which, there are 97 natural delegates and 403 appointed delegates.
