On May 5, according to information from the Ministry of National Defense's Electronic Information Portal, the "Sustainable Air Defense Dome" combat plan is being further completed by the General Staff, the Air Defense - Air Force Service and agencies and units in the Vietnam People's Army.
The "Sustainable Air Defense Dome" operational plan is one of the key and strategic contents, aimed at building a widespread, multi-layered, solid, modern air defense posture capable of early detection, rapid response, effective interception, firmly protecting the Fatherland's sky and assigned goals.
According to a report by the General Staff, the "Sustainable Air Defense Arch" combat plan is built on the basis of inheriting traditional experience combined with the application of new scientific and technological achievements, in order to improve the capacity of surveillance, command - operation and combat coordination between forces, in which the Air Defense - Air Force Service is the core.
Regarding "Methods of combat for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs)", units in the army have just successfully organized a workshop on methods of combat for UAVs.
The results of this workshop will be the basis for researching and perfecting the combat methods for preventing and combating UAVs, which are of great significance both in theory and practice, contributing to improving the efficiency of organizing the use of armed forces, equipment and appropriate positions in modern combat conditions.
At the request of the leaders of the Ministry of National Defense, the "Sustainable Air Defense Arch" combat plan will continue to be completed on the basis of closely following reality, ensuring feasibility, synchronization and effectiveness.
At the same time, promote research, master technology, strengthen international cooperation and train high-quality human resources to meet task requirements in the new situation.
Previously, on April 16, the General Department of Logistics and Technology organized the closing ceremony of shooting training, the "Sustainable Air Defense Arch" combat plan and a general introduction to UAVs.
Here, Major General Phung Ngoc Son, Deputy Head of the General Department of Logistics and Technology, requested commanders of agencies and units to review, supplement, and complete the system of combat and rescue documents, training documents in accordance with regulations, focusing on the "Sustainable Air Defense Arch" combat plan of all levels;
Ensure uniformity, in accordance with regulations, and in accordance with the organizational structure, weapons, technical equipment and the actual situation of the unit. Closely coordinate with forces, regularly grasp the situation, and organize proficient training of plans.
Notably, Major General Phung Ngoc Son also requested units to firmly grasp the process, handle situations, and moves to shoot at aerial targets with infantry rifles.
Actively research and innovate the content and methods of training closely to the development of combat targets in modern warfare, according to tasks, areas, new and modern weapons and technical equipment. Master modern weapons and technical equipment; build and complete the development of a unified digital ecosystem and digital data in the military and defense fields.
