This morning (September 2), in Hanoi, the Central Military Commission for the 2020-2025 term held the 13th Conference to review and comment on the Project on "refined, compact, and strong" local military organization to meet the requirements of tasks in the new situation.
General Secretary To Lam - Secretary of the Central Military Commission chaired the conference. Also attending the conference were Politburo members, members of the Central Military Commission: President Luong Cuong; Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh.
Attending the meeting were the Politburo members: General Phan Van Giang - Deputy Secretary of the Central Military Commission, Minister of Defense; Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Organizing Committee Le Minh Hung; Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of Propaganda Department and Central Committee Nguyen Trong Nghia; Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Inspection Committee Nguyen Duy Ngoc.

Also attending the conference were the Secretaries of the Party Central Committee: Head of the Central Committee for Policy and Strategy Tran Luu Quang; Chief of the Party Central Committee Office Le Hoai Trung.
At the beginning of the conference, General Secretary To Lam - Secretary of the Central Military Commission - thoroughly grasped the purpose, content, and program of the conference.
Next, the delegates listened to General Nguyen Tan Cuong - Member of the Party Central Committee, Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army, Deputy Minister of National Defense - present the draft Project on local military organization "refined, compact, strong" to meet the requirements of tasks in the new situation.
At the conference, delegates will focus on discussing and giving opinions on the contents of the Project; General Secretary To Lam, Secretary of the Central Military Commission, will make a concluding speech, direct and orient many important contents.
