This is one of the remarkable contents at the meeting between the Office of Da Nang City People's Committee and the Department of Science and Technology (Science and Technology) in Quang Nam province to review, evaluate and propose the plan to integrate the information system, serve the arrangement and merger of administrative units between the two localities recently.
According to the report of the Department of Science and Technology of Quang Nam, the Provincial E-Portal is currently operated by Quang Nam IT Center, operating under the convergence of the editorial office, with the centralized CMS content management system and the data storage system on Oracle Cluster. In addition to providing official information, the port also effectively operates digital media platforms such as "Quang Nam digital conversion", fanpage with nearly 30,000 followers, YouTube channel more than 16,000 subscribers and Zalo OA 1022 attract nearly 100,000 interested people.
The Department of Science and Technology of Quang Nam proposed to transfer all personnel, technology model and infrastructure of the Quang Nam Portal to the new system of Da Nang City. Notably, the province has proposed to officially recruit three contract personnel who are currently directly operating the system, to ensure continuity and expertise in the post-merger period.
In addition, the administrative procedure settlement information system of Quang Nam - deployed by VNPT - was also discussed. The system has processed nearly 850,000 records in just over a year of operation, fully integrating features such as one-time login (SSO), digital registration, online payment, online results payment, etc.
The estimated cost of renting the system is about 6 billion VND for 3 years, along with 800 million VND for annual operating costs. Representatives of the two localities agreed to continue the form of service lease after the merger to ensure uninterrupted operations, especially in the transition period.
Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Dinh Quang Cuong - Deputy Chief of Office of the Da Nang City People's Committee - expressed his agreement with the proposal to retain personnel and technical infrastructure of Quang Nam. At the same time, he emphasized the important role of standardizing and integrating information systems in the administrative merger process: "Retention of technical teams that are directly operating the system is not only a reasonable solution but also ensures stability, avoiding information disruption to serve people and businesses".
