On the morning of July 15, at the 2nd session, the 13th term People's Council of Quang Ngai province officially approved a Resolution on support policies for cadres, civil servants and public employees (CBCCVC) from the old Kon Tum province to work at the new administrative center after the merger.
This policy applies to more than 900 employees and employees of Party, State agencies and organizations of the old Kon Tum province who transfer to work in Quang Ngai. The goal of the Resolution is to create favorable conditions, helping the staff quickly stabilize their lives and work with peace of mind.
Regarding housing, cadres under the management of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee will be allocated public housing. During the waiting period, they will be supported with funding for renting a house.
Regarding travel and work support, each eligible employee will receive a support level of 3 million VND/person/month. For those who have been arranged with public housing or receive support for renting a house, this support level will be 1.6 million VND/person/month. This policy is applied from July 1, 2025 to July 1, 2027, to ensure stability in the initial stage after the merger.
Speaking about the Resolution, Mr. Nguyen Hoang Giang, Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Ngai province affirmed that this is a necessary policy, in line with the reality and the province's ability to balance the budget. He emphasized: "The Provincial People's Committee will direct the organization to implement closely, correctly, and in practice, supporting cadres to have the best working conditions".
Also at the meeting, the Provincial People's Council passed many other important resolutions related to exemption of online public service fees, approval of funding for asset procurement, construction repair and approval of the 2026 supervision program, along with solutions for socio-economic development in the last 6 months of the year.
