Quang Ninh will conduct a general inventory of public assets at 1,220 agencies and units, striving to complete it in the first quarter of 2025.

Implementing the Project on General inventory of public assets according to Decision No. 213/QD-TTg of the Prime Minister, Quang Ninh has deployed inventory work at 1,220 agencies and units in the whole province.

From January 1, 2025, units and localities have begun to access the general inventory software of the Ministry of Finance to enter data.

As of February 10, 2025, 980/1,220 agencies and units have completed data entry, 676/1,220 agencies have sent minutes and reports to superiors or the Department of Finance, and 493/1,220 agencies have approved data on the software.

The process of inventorying public assets will help create accurate figures on state assets, serving the application of information technology in asset management and building a socio-economic development strategy of the province.

The inventory also contributes to state financial reporting, practicing thrift and combating waste.

According to the plan, from February 25 to 28, 2025, the Department of Finance will preside over the inspection of the preparation work and the progress of inventory implementation at the People's Committee of Dong Trieu City, the People's Committee of Binh Lieu District, the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development and Quang Ninh Clean Water Joint Stock Company.

The purpose of the inspection is to strengthen administrative discipline, promptly detect difficulties and problems, and propose solutions to ensure the inventory is completed on schedule.
