On the morning of May 5, the Standing Committee of Quang Tri Provincial Party Committee held a conference to announce the decisions of the Secretariat and the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee on personnel work. Mr. Nguyen Van Phuong - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee chaired the conference.
Attending were comrades in the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, leaders of the People's Council, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, along with members of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and related delegates.
At the conference, Mr. Nguyen Luong Binh - Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Committee announced the Secretariat's decisions on appointing Colonel Phan Thang - Commander of the Provincial Military Command to participate in the Executive Committee, Standing Committee of Quang Tri Provincial Party Committee for the term 2025-2030; appointing Colonel Truong Viet Hai - Political Commissar of the Provincial Military Command to participate in the Executive Committee of the Provincial Party Committee for the term 2025-2030.
The Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee decided to transfer and assign Ms. Thai Thi Hong Minh - Vice Principal of Le Duan Political School to participate in the Standing Committee, the Executive Committee of the Party Committee and hold the position of Secretary of the Party Committee of Cam Lo commune for the term 2025-2030.
Speaking at the conference, Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Van Phuong emphasized that cadre work is a key task in Party building. The mobilization, assignment, and appointment of cadres aims to concretize planning, improve leadership capacity, and combat strength of grassroots Party organizations.
The Provincial Party Secretary affirmed that the assigned officials all have firm political bravery, are well-trained, have practical experience and have held many important positions.
The Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee believes that comrades will continue to promote the spirit of responsibility, solidarity, innovation, creativity, contributing to the effective implementation of resolutions of the Central Government and localities, promoting socio-economic development, and maintaining national defense and security.
On behalf of the officers receiving assignments, Colonel Phan Thang affirmed that he will continue to train, maintain internal solidarity, uphold the spirit of responsibility, and be determined to successfully complete the assigned tasks.
