Quang Tri has 6 deputy directors when merging the Department of Transport and Construction

Quang Tri - After merging the Department of Transport and the Department of Construction, there will be 10 specialized departments, 1 director and 6 deputy directors.

On December 30, the People's Committee of Quang Tri province held a meeting to deploy the organizational arrangement of the Department of Transport and Construction.

According to the draft project, after merging the two departments, there will be 10 specialized departments; reducing 1 specialized department and 1 public service unit with regular expenditure guaranteed by the state budget, which is the Mobile Vehicle Load Control Station under the Department of Transport.

Since the implementation of Resolution 18 of the Central Committee (2017) up to now, the two departments have reduced 3 professional departments and 4 public service units. Regarding the staffing, 1 department director, 1 head of a professional department, 4 heads and 4 deputy heads of public service units have been reduced. When merged, there will be 1 director and 6 deputy directors.

Mr. Le Duc Tien - Vice Chairman of Quang Tri Provincial People's Committee - informed that the Provincial People's Committee agreed to keep the number of staff as in the draft project and reduce 1 public service unit as proposed. For public service units implementing equitization according to the Government's roadmap, it is mandatory to do so, and the public service units proposed to be retained must clarify the basis and regulations.

"The province has assigned units to complete the project and submit it to the relevant levels for early implementation," informed Mr. Le Duc Tien.
