According to information from the Soc Trang Provincial Party Committee, from June 23 to 30, 2025, 43 new commune and ward-level administrative units in the province will conduct trial operations before officially coming into operation from July 1, 2025.
According to the plan, the new communes and wards will organize a trial of activities such as: meetings of the Party Executive Committee, Standing Committee of the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee at the commune level; receiving and handling administrative procedures at the Public Administration Service Center according to hypothetical situations.
The trial operation focuses on meeting mechanisms, direction of Party building, state management and service to the people, ensuring the commune-level political system operates smoothly and effectively.
After the testing phase, the authorities will organize a preliminary review and assessment to complete the entire apparatus before officially putting it into operation from July 1, 2025.
According to Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the People's Council of Soc Trang province Ho Thi Cam Dao, the trial operation is an important preparation step, helping new administrative units operate stably and effectively as soon as they officially come into operation; at the same time, ensuring good service to people and businesses.
